Ci nascondiamo in casa oggi per uscire e rifiorire domani.
Questo virus non fermerà la nostra voglia di vivere, di tornare ad abbracciarci e giocare! I made this series of six handmade collage, during the lockdown for prevent the covid-19 spread. The title of this series it’s the name of a famous game that Italians children use to do.
(One has to cover his eyes with hands and count till 3 and then turn around and see how near him are his friends; if who’s counting, turning around see one of the other in movement, this last one has to return back to the start point.)
In this collage the hands that cover the face are the hands of an adult, I like to think they are the grandparents or familiars that in this time we can’t visit so right now we have to be patience and thinking that today we are hiding in our home to win this game against covid-19 and return at the street as soon as we can to start a new game, a new life, full of consciousness about who are our loved persons, and return to play together like children.
With this collage i want to express and spreads optimism to all, giving another way to see the situations, trying to find the good in the bad.
This hope it’s symbolized by flowers that blooming from behind the hands: the life will continue.
